2026 Homecoming Parade Registration


Complete this for to register for the Minnesota State Mankato Homecoming Parade. Line-up begins at 9:30 am. All organizations should arrive by 9:30 am for line-up.

Theme: The 2026 Homecoming theme is 🎮Video Game: Level ðŸ†™, Mavericks. Theme celebrates all things video games, from classic arcade favorites to modern gaming adventures. All parade entries are encouraged, but not required, to decorate according to the theme.

Please Note ​Please review the guidelines. Only entries with special designation by the parade committee with receive an assigned spot. All other entries are placed in the order that they arrive. Larger floats (Semi Trucks, Construction Equipment, multi-vehicles entries, etc) must be submitted for approval. ​

  • Originality 25%

  • Interactivity 25%

  • Decoration Quality  25%      

  • Representation and correlation to the homecoming theme 25%

What class is your entry?
Each entry must select the appropriate classification from the following categories.

Class 1: Walking groups and non-motorized entries. Groups may consist of up to 40 participants on foot, person-powered, or animal powered vehicles. (example: bikes, skateboards, or big wheels)

Class 2: Motorized vehicle without floats (example: car, trucks, and vans). This classification may have only one vehicle. Maximum of 20 people for this entry.

Class 3: Traditional float entries: may consist of one motorized vehicle pulling one non-motorized vehicle/floats. Maximum of 20 people for this entry.

Class 4: Miscellaneous Entries: Any entry that does not fit into the previous categories. This may include multiple vehicle floats, large vehicles, groups large than 40 people. Floats in this category must obtain prior approval from the Assistant Director of Campus Programs.
