Priorities for RSO Student Leaders

  • Get registered & attend the RSO Leadership Launch on Friday, Aug. 25 from 4-6:15! 
  • Reserve your table at the Involvement Fair 
  • Mark your calendars for the rest of the First Friday RSO Student Leader series!
  • Re-Register your RSO before the October 2 deadline!

Now Live!

Mav Central connects you with student organizations, their events, and volunteer opportunities! As RSO student leaders, you'll want to learn all you can about Mav Central as it is our new RSO management software and it has some powerful tools. For example, the email you're reading was built in Mav Central!

On mnsu.edu/MavCentral, we have linked some helpful videos to help you get started. We will also be offering drop-in sessions on the following Tuesdays from 5-6 p.m. in CSU 204:  Aug. 29 & Sept. 19.

Please Note: As of 8/23 at 3:30 p.m. we are still waiting for our user upload, but we are able to add people manually. If you're not able to access Mav Central, please email rso-office@mnsu.edu with your starid, your @mnsu.edu email address, and the RSO you're an officer/member of! As we're able, we'll get you added.

Reserve Your Table Today!

Sign up is now open for RSOs to reserve a table at the Involvement Fair & CSU Mall Fest on Wednesday, Aug. 30! We have room for over 50 RSOs to table this year so let's make this the best attended tabling event ever! 

Other elements of the event include: live music, petting zoo, hotdogs, and non-profit agencies promoting their volunteer opportunities.
Aug. 25 Leadership Launch

As part of the annual RSO Re-Registration process, all RSOs are required to send at least one member to the First Friday RSO Leadership Launch on Friday, Aug. 25 from 4-6:15 p.m. in the CSU Ballroom. 

The agenda includes:

  • Involvement Fair Recruitment Tips & Tricks
  • Keynote by Jeff Venekamp: Going from Here to There
  • And More!

Aug. 25 RSO Leadership Launch is required, but mark your calendars for these additional leadership opportunities
