Mental Health And RSO

Being part of an RSO is a lot of work. Juggling commitments to your RSO, homework, midterms, and your job might be a little overwhelming. As any other form of physical aliment, mental ailment is as serious matter. The Maverick Involvement Team is committed to promote and foster a healthy environment. Here are some tips and resources: 

• Mindfulness: This can be done through meditation.  

• Digital Well-Being: This can be done by balancing your time on a screen and in real life.

• Mental Health Apps: Can be used to help manage stress and anxiety.  

On-Campus Resource 

Minnesota State University, Mankato is invested in providing a variety of services to help and manage everyday stress. The Counseling Center is a resource on campus that provides a range of mental health services, from individual and group counseling to referrals. Services are free, comfortable, and confidential; the Counseling Center is here to help students navigate any difficulties going on personally, socially, or in school.
