RSO Resource Highlight
Creation Station
Need posters for the Homecoming Parade or other events!? The Creation Station in Student Activities is here for you during office hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Supplies include giant reams of paper for poster-making, letter cutters, rulers, paint, and markers. Scissors and glue can be checked out with a Mav card at the Student Activities front desk.
Guidelines for Use
Clean up after yourself. Toss tiny scraps of paper; return larger, usable paper to the usable box under the large table; vacuum the space. The space must be cleaned 10 minutes before the Student Activities office closes.
Protect the table
Markers might bleed? Put additional paper under the project.
Cutting through items? Use cardboard or other protective layers on top of the table.
Keep projects on the Creation Station table, not on the center meeting table or the floor.
All durable items: scissors, glue, rulers, paint, paper cutter, etc stay in the Student Activities Office.
Free for RSOs!
Departments can purchase paper at $1 per foot.
Not for personal use or class projects.
Residence Life has similar supplies for Residence Halls.
Failure to follow the assigned cleaning instructions will result in a written warning. Additional violations of the clean-up procedures will result in loss of creation access and privilege for the remainder of the academic year.
